At the point of contact, our Business Support Officers will ask questions about the person who requires an assessment, such as their age and language level. Our team will then circulate questionnaires to gather more information about the person.
Depending on the person's age, we may share a questionnaire with the person in question, a parent/carer, the school, family members, partners or other close contacts.
After we have received the questionnaires, they will be reviewed as part of the triage process by an experienced clinical team to confirm the most appropriate assessment pathway. The route may include a telephone consultation to gather more information and discuss the assessment in more detail if needed. Following this process, you may book the assessment.
